United Reformed Church Northern Synod

faces

Welcome to our Synod website

Here you will find out about the work, witness and worship of the United Reformed Church in the North East of England. The Synod area stretches from Northallerton to Berwick, and includes over eighty congregations of varied size, urban and rural, linked together for fellowship, and ready through Mission Partnerships to be part of God's continuing mission to the world.

Our churches are drawn from Congregational, Presbyterian and Churches of Christ traditions, and share a commitment to work and pray for the unity of all God's people.

The work of the Synod is carried out through a variety of committees and task groups drawn from members of our churches, and supported by the staff at Synod Office. Synod meetings take place twice a year, usually in March and October.
